Cases going through the Indiana County Court of Common Pleas today for plea and sentencing hearings all have to do with DUI, but one of those cases also involved a chase with police.
56-year-old John Rittenhouse is charged with DUI, fleeing or eluding police, disorderly conduct, reckless endangerment and 20 summary driving counts connected with an incident on August 13th when police tried to pull him over near the intersection of Route 210 and Sawmill Road in North Mahoning Township, but he fled and led police on a chase that ended when he crashed his truck at the intersection of 210 and McCormick Road.
Troopers said that he was under the influence of alcohol at the time.
