The Merakey Partnership provides services in a number of special needs areas, such as addiction recovery, adult behavioral health, autism services for children and adults, and more. Their presentation before the committee on Monday will focus on autistic and emotional support services, a proposal to rent space at Horace Mann in the next academic year, and a possible interest in buying the building in 2025-26.
Purchase Line’s school board on Monday will hold a work session, at which they will be reviewing a list of close to four dozen district policies for possible actions, either revision, deletion or enactment of a new policy. The board will also be considering the hiring of a new full-time high school principal after they split the job between two individuals on an interim basis last month. The extensive agenda also includes the hiring of assistant coaches, primarily for football, and the approval of the list of graduating seniors.
