Steelers general manager Omar Khan told The Pat McAfee Show yesterday that “There’s nothing going on right now…nothing to report” on potential trades for a wide receiver, or anyone for that matter.
The Steelers have openings in the wide receivers’ room and in the secondary, especially at cornerback. Rumors since the draft had them contacting the 49ers about Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk, to the Broncos about Courtland Sutton, and to the Seahawks about DK Metcalf. There are also free agent wide receivers available, including former Clairton High School and Pitt wideout Tyler Boyd, who has spent his NFL career with the Bengals and been a Steelers nemesis.
