Barbara A. Uber, 82, of Cherry Tree passed away peacefully April 28, 2024 at her home surrounded by family and loved ones.
She enjoyed traveling, going on cruises with her daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Among that she was fond of going to the casinos and traveling with her longtime sidekick, Cinda Helman. She loved spending time with family, Brother-in-law John F. Miller and his beloved wife Barbara (Uber) Miller in California.
She was employed at Indiana University of PA for many years in the Custodial Department, where she gained numerous friendships.
She was preceded in death by her husband James W. Uber, newborn son Levi, sister Carol Patterson, brother Larry “Uncle Buck” Ruffner and grandson David J. Prushnok.
She is survived by her daughters Louann Uber, Margaret (Bill) Helsley, Annie (Keith) Hull, grandchildren Melissia Smith, Eric and Uriah Miller and Bethany Prushnok, great grandchildren Laken and Sidney Smith, Dylan Prushnok, Ryker and Amara Miller, sisters Betty Smith and Nancy Thompson and numerous nieces and nephews.
Per her request no services will be held, donations can be made in her memory to St. Jude or Make A Wish.
