Blairsville Borough will receive a $500,000 federal grant to help them with repairs at the water plant.
The grant was announced at last night’s borough council meeting by Council President John Bertolino. Borough manager Jody Poorbaugh talked about the repairs to be made at the water plant on Hillside Road.
The grant does require a match of $125,000 from the borough.
The board was also updated on when the ribbon cutting would be at the park at the former Murphy Lot. The Park at Market and Stewart will have its official dedication April 30th at 4:00 PM
