Over the last 24 hours, Indiana County First Responders were called out for some storm and tree-related calls.
The first call on Sunday was at 7 AM, as Cherryhill and Clymer fire departments were dispatched to a location on Mithcell Hill Road in Cherryhill Township for a transformer fire. About six hours later, Saltsburgh fire crews were called out for a report of a tree down on Route 286 in Conemaugh Township. Utility lines were reported down on Hancock Road in Young Township and Coal Run fire department was called out 3:45 PM.
A vehicle accident was reported in Westmoreland County at 11:45 last night, and Indiana County 911 reported that Tunnelton fire department was called out to assist Westmoreland County first responder.
Another tree was reported down, with this incident happening around 4:11 this morning on Leasure Run Road in North Mahoning Township. Marion Center fire department was called out to clear the road.
