A Northern Cambria man was arrested after disrupting activities at a district judge’s office on Wednesday.
Sheriff Bob Fyock said in a news release that Robert J. Mack was in District Judge Christopher Welch’s office and as he interacted with staffers, he became disruptive and upset with them. He was told to leave several times by Judge Welch and when he refused, the deputy sheriff on duty intervened. Mack tried to push past the deputy several times to get to the lobby window again, and tried to resist as the deputy restrained him.
Mack is charged with resisting arrest, harassment and disorderly conduct, and was arraigned in front of District Judge Robert Bell Sr. He is now in jail in lieu of $20,000 bail and will be back before Judge Bell on April 24th.
