WATER OUT FOR HANDFUL OF PA AMERICAN CUSTOMERS

A contractor hit a water main while digging in White Township and that has caused a service outage for a handful of PA American Water customers.

Officials with PA American Water say that a contractor dug into a water main in the area of Indian Springs Road causing a break.  While water service was interrupted for many customers, most of them have had service restored.

Six customers remain without water right now, and he said that repairs could take another 4-6 hours to complete.
