At their meeting Wednesday afternoon, White Township Supervisors discussed collaborating with Center Township on an upcoming paving project.
Township Manager Chris Anderson said Center Township officials informed them that they plan to do some paving along 13th Street and Lucerne Road near the township border in the near future, but a portion of the road located in in White Township would go unpaved. Seeing this, he said it was a good opportunity to work together.
No timetable has been set for the project, but the township has contacted PennDOT to get direction on moving forward.
In other business, Supervisors approved a motion to allow the Stewardship committee to meet Thursday, May 2nd, to review public comment of the White’s Wood’s Stewardship plan. Anderson said more than 120 comments were submitted and committee members will review them for any proposed recommendations or changes. That meeting will start at 6:30 p.m.
