Today is the last day to register to vote in the PA primary election later this month.
Voter registrations must be completed today in order to be eligible to cast a ballot in the Pennsylvania Primary on April 23rd. Registration can be done by mail, online at vote.pa.gov or through several government agencies like PennDOT Photo License and Driver’s License Centers. To be able to vote, you must be at least 18 years of age, be a citizen of the US for at least a month before the primary, and be a resident of Pennsylvania and of your election district for at least 30 days before the primary. Once registered, you do not need to re-register unless you change your address or party affiliation.
If you want to vote by absentee or mail-in ballot, those applications must be received by the county elections board by the end of business on April 16th.
