Yesterday was an active day for Indiana County first responders.
Along with a vehicle accident early Friday morning, there were two other crashes reported in the county. One was at 3:34 PM on Route 403 North in Cherryhill Township. Clymer fire department, Citizens’ Ambulance and State Police were dispatched at that time. At 4:40 PM was the other crash, reported on Route 22 East in Burrell Township. Black Lick and Blairsville fire departments, Citizens’ and State Police were called out to that scene.
There was also a reported structure fire on Oakridge Drive in White Township. Indiana, Creekside, Homer City and Coral-Graceton fire departments were dispatched at 6:08 PM along with Citizens’ and the county HAZMAT team.
Details on these incidents have not been released.
