The IUP basketball teams have a busy schedule, with four doubleheaders in the next ten days. They’re at Seton Hill on Wednesday, at home against Slippery Rock on Saturday, next Monday night at home against Cal U, and on the road at Clarion next Wednesday.
The Crimson Hawks’ men beat Edinboro by 12 on Saturday, led by Garvin Clarke’s 30 points. That upped their record to 11-5, and 8-2 in the PSAC.
Coach Joe Lombardi says his team may not be as talented as some of his previous championship teams, but he loves coaching them.
The IUP women lost a heartbreaker to Edinboro, 70-69 on a corner three with about five seconds left on Saturday.
