Charges were recently filed by Clymer Borough Police against a Vintondale man in a traffic stop that turned into a drug bust back in mid-September.
Police say on September 15th at 6:18 PM, police stopped a car in the area of Route 403 and Barr Slope Road for having an expired registration. Police identified the driver as 35-year-old Robert Cochran, who was also found to be wanted. He was taken into custody at that point.
A search of his vehicle turned up five marijuana joints and a THC vape pen, while a search of his person turned up a clear plastic bag with a white powder later identified as .2 grams of fentanyl.
A criminal complaint was filed through District Judge Christopher Welch’s office.
