Indiana County’s firefighters have seen action for a variety of incidents this weekend. On Saturday, firefighters from Tunnelton and Saltsburg were dispatched for a brush fire along Saltsburg Road in Conemaugh Township. It was the 85th wildfire in the county this year.
Other fire calls:
- Plumville firefighters cleared a tree that had knocked down utility lines on Rossmoyne Road in South Mahoning Township last night, causing the closure of that road.
- Homer City firefighters and Citizens Ambulance Service responded to an accident shortly before 10 o’clock last night on Cherry Run Road in Center Township.
- Cherryhill Township and Citizens Ambulance were summoned for an accident on Route 553 in Cherryhill Township at 1:41 this morning.
