A longtime Penguins player will receive the ultimate team honor in February as his jersey joins Mario Lemieux and Michel Brierre in the rafters of PPG Paints Arena.
The Pens announced Friday that they will retire the jersey of #68 Jaromir Jagr during a game on February 18th. Jagr was drafted by the Pens in 1990 and helped the team win its first set of back-to-back stanley cups, and later became the captain of the team as part of his 11 seasons with the Pens before going to the Capitals, starting a string of stints with several teams in the NHL and Europe.
As for tonight, the Pens return from their three-game California trip to host the Buffalo Sabres tonight. You can hear it today on WCCS immediately following our coverage of Pitt Football.
