SCHOOL BOARD ELECTIONS: INDIANA TO WELCOME FOUR NEW MEMBERS

The Indiana Area School Board will welcome four new faces following Tuesday’s general election.

According to the unofficial results, Sally McCombie led the way with 3,881 total votes. Incumbent Walter Schroth was next with 3,783 votes, followed by Chris Adams (3,684), Patrick Schneider (3,219), and Doug Steve (3,004).

McCombie was thankful for the support during the election and she discussed her plans.

Steve thanked his voters and said he looks forward to fulfilling his promises of improving test scores and being involved within the district.

Adams said that he has children in every level of the school system and he will be listening to the concerns of the parents of the district, but he wants to help make Indiana Area School District one of the best places for children.
