The Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Deliquency paid a visit to the Indiana Senior High School this (Friday) morning to encourage other districts to take part in the 2023-24 Pennsylvania Youth Survey and highlight the district’s work with the School Mental Health and Safety and Security fuinding through the School Safety and Security Committee.
Executive Director Mike Pennington said in a news conference that Indiana School District has utilized the money received through the project to address not just physical security, but also mental health initiatives as well. He had high praise for Indiana School District’s work in these areas.
Superintendent Rob Heinrich talked about how much of an impact the Youth Survey has had on the district.
