CLYMER POLICE
A Commodore man was charged with resisting arrest, public drunkenness and other crimes for an incident in Clymer on September 8th. Clymer borough police said that at 11:35 PM, officers stopped a vehicle on Route 286 and Diamondville Road for traffic violations. During the stop, 34-year-old Khadij Davis of Commodore was seen flicking ashes from his cigarette out of the passenger-side window. He was also in possession of an open alcoholic container. When police asked, he refused to provide his identity or cooperate. As he was taken into custody, he resisted arrest. Police also said that Davis was under the influence to the point that he was a danger to himself and others. He was taken into custody and later released to a sober driver. On top of the other crimes, he was charged with obstruction of justice, scattering rubbish and alcoholic containers violations. A criminal complaint was filed through District Judge Christopher Welch’s office.
A Clymer woman faces charges of disorderly conduct for an incident on Monday. Clymer police say that at 2:02 PM, officers responded to an incident in the 1500 block of Dixon Road regarding a parking issue. When they arrived, they found 55-year-old Betty Bottali of Clymer continuously argued with officers, creating a public inconvenience and what they called a physical offensive condition. She was ordered multiple times to stop but failed to do so. She was taken into custody and released on-scene. A criminal complaint was filed through District Judge Christopher Welch’s office.
