One person was hurt in a vehicle accident reported last night in Blairsville.
Indiana County 911 reports that Blairsville and Black Lick fire departments, Citizens Ambulance and Blairsville Borough Police were called out at 5:10 PM on South Walnut Street in the borough. Officials with the Blairsville fire department said that a car crashed and sheared a utility pole in the process. One person had to be extricated and they were sent to the hospital for treatment of suspected minor injuries.
South Walnut between Market and Short Streets was closed while crews investigated and cleaned the scene. State police have not yet released a report on the crash.
