The Indiana County Development Corporation is planning a community informational meeting this Monday concerning a renewable natural gas facility planned for the Route 119 Business Park in Center Township.
Air Liquide representatives will be on hand to present information about the operational and safety processes at the biomethane production facility and answer public questions. The plant will receive cow manure from about 18 to 20 participating farms and use it to create biomethane. The farmers will receive payment for the manure, and they will also benefit from improved waste management. The solids will be returned to them to be used as cow bedding and the liquid can be used as fertilizer for crops.
The meeting will be held at 6:00 PM on Monday at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish in Coral at 2434 Neal Road.
