Indiana Borough Council will meet tonight and three motions are on the agenda.
The agenda will include a motion to authorize the borough manager to execute the 2024 minimum municipal obligation and to direct the manager to budget $399,000 as both an expenditure and revenue in the 2024 budget. The minimum municipal obligation is the state-mandated smallest amount a municipality must contribute to any pension plan established for its employees.
Also on the agenda tonight is an ordinance to amend a part of the borough code that concerns streets and sidewalks, and the third will adopt and execute an engineering services agreement with Stiffler McGraw for a capital improvements plan regarding the Wastewater Treatment Plant.
The meeting starts at 7:00 tonight at the borough office.
