Along with the crash call previously reported, first responders had a busy day on Friday to start Labor Day Weekend.
The first call of the day was at 10:31 AM for Saltsburg fire department, who were called out for a physical rescue on Salt Street in Saltsburg Borough. Scanner reports confirmed they were called out for a child locked in a vehicle.
Two automatic fire alarms were also reported on Friday. The first was on Oakland Avenue in White Township, with Indiana Fire Companies 2 and 3 dispatched at 10:40 AM. The other was at 2:42 in the afternoon for a property on Route 119 North in Rayne Township. Marion Center and Plumville fire departments were dispatched at that time.
And there was a report of utility lines down in East Wheatfield Township. Armagh Fire Department was dispatched at 9:59 PM to Wherum Road.
