Tonight is one of the more popular nights of the Indiana County Fair with music filling the air starting at 7:00 tonight.
On the schedule for the Grandstand tonight is Band Night starting at 7:00 PM. Several high school marching bands and the IUP marching band will perform for a traditionally packed house, so if you are going today, you may want to arrive early to get a good seat.
Another reason to arrive before Band Night starts is due to an event prior to the start of the performance: the finale of the annual Kiss-A-Pig fundraiser for the Evergreen After School Club. Teams of two have been working to raise funds over the past few months. The winners will kiss a pig on stage in front of the crowd gathered at the Grandstand.
Admission to the fairgrounds is free until 2:00 this afternoon. After that, it is a $10 admission fee.
A complete schedule of events can be found at www.indianacountyfair.com and stay tuned to Your Hometown Radio Stations as we will report from the fair throughout the day.
