Last night, the Indiana County Fair crowned its new fair queen and alternate.

Oliva Short from Marion Center was named the 2023 Indiana County Fair Queen, while Rylee Lee of Commodore was named fair queen alternate. The presentation was made last night as the fair officially kicked off on Sunday.
Today is Indiana County Commissioners Day at the fair. All veterans and senior citizens 65 and over will be admitted to the fair free today. All others will pay $10 after 2:00 PM. Today is also the first day of operation of the C&L Shows Carnival Rides, which will start at 6:00 PM. A reminder that the carnival rides are not included in your fair admission. Tonight at the grandstand will be the stock gasoline and stock diesel 4×4 pickup pull by Keystone Pullers at 7:00 PM.
