One of the suspects arrested as part of a drug bust operation in February were sentenced yesterday in Indiana County Court.
45-year-old Domenick Triffanoff had pleaded guilty to a charge of manufacture, delivery or possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver in connection with an arrest made in “Operation Strikeout” in February of this year. He was one of nine people apprehended in the drug sweep. For his guilty plea, he was ordered to serve five years of probation, including 12 months of house arrest with electronic monitoring.
Also in court yesterday was 39-year-old Joseph Wissinger of Clune, who was sentenced in four separate cases. In the first case involving a charge of DUI, he was ordered to serve 3 days to six months in jail. In that case, he was paroled immediately. A second case sentenced him to a year of probation for charges of providing a false ID and possession of a small amount of marijuana. He was also sentenced to a year’s probation for possession of drug paraphernalia, public drunkenness and driving on a suspended license. In a fourth case, he was ordered to serve five years of probation with a year of house arrest for each count of fleeing or attempting to elude police and DUI. All the probation terms will run concurrently.
