Two people were injured in a crash that happened Thursday evening in White Township.
Indiana County 911 reported that the Indiana Fire Association, State Police and Citizens Ambulance were dispatched to Rose Street near the intersection with South 13th Street at 6:17 PM. Troopers say that 63-year-old Jeffrey Mitchell was stopped at the intersection and pulled out to make a right hand turn, but did not yield the right of way to a motorcycle driven by 52-year-old Michael McGovern of Indiana as it was coming in the Westbound lane of Rose Street. The two vehicles collided with both McGovern and 24-year-old Marselienna Eschen of Indiana thrown from the motorcycle. McGovern had suspected serious injuries while Eschen had suspected minor injuries. Both were taken to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center for treatment.
