Lane restrictions will be in place today in the area of the bridge project in East Wheatfield Township.
PennDOT says starting today and running through September 5th, crews will do steel work and painting of the bridge that carries Cramer Pike/State Route 403 over US Route 22. One lane will be closed in each direction under that bridge to allow crews to do that work.
Also, PennDOT says on Monday, August 28th between 11 PM and 5 AM, Route 22 Eastbound and Westbound will be closed with a detour in place. Eastbound motorists should take the State Route 403 exit, cross State Route 403, and reenter U.S. Route 22. Westbound motorists should exit U.S. Route 22 at U.S. Route 219 north and follow the detour along U.S. Route 422 and U.S. Route 119 to Blairsville.
The work is being done by Allison Park Contracting out of Gibsonia and is expected to cost $725,000.
