Indiana Regional Medical Center was honored by Newsweek and Plant-A Insights Group as one of America’s Greatest Workplaces in their 2023 ranking.
The publication and insights group conducted a large-scale employer study based on more than 389,000 company reviews. Participants were asked to rank the entity assigned to individual statements about their employment experience. According to Newsweek data, employees of great workplaces experience better physical and mental health when they feel respected, meaning fewer sick days and a reduction in burnout. All of that carries over to the customer experience.
In a statement, IRMC President and CEO Steve Wolfe said that the hospital was honored to be named among the top workplaces in America, and that they have strived to make a culture “where our culture where our people can be fulfilled, engaged and rewarded for delivering on this promise.” IRMC Chief Human Resources Officer Jim Kinneer added that the recognition was a “testament to everyone who strives to make IRMC a great place to work and a great place for care.”
