A Pittsburgh man was sentenced yesterday for guilty pleas to resisting arrest and drug possession.
24-year-old Joseph Dogan, who is now in Allegheny County Jail, was ordered to serve 11 months to a day less than two years in Indiana County Jail and two years of probation for a charge of possession with intent to deliver. He was also ordered to serve six to 12 months in jail for the resisting arrest charge, but was paroled forthwith.
He was charged in connection with an incident in Indiana Borough on September 3rd of last year, when he was pulled over by police. He tried to flee the scene on foot, but police were able to catch up with him and found drugs and drug paraphernalia on his person. The bust happened in the 100 block of South 7th Street.
