A woman wanted on a warrant out of Oklahoma will have an extradition hearing today in Indiana County Court.
The hearing for 29-year-old Ambrose Booth of Ponca City, Oklahoma will be held in front of Judge Michael Clark this morning. She was picked up by Blairsville Police on July 27th on an anonymous tip. The warrant came from the Kay County Sheriff’s Office for charges of strangulation and bail jumping. Kay County Sheriff Steve Kelley said that Booth had failed to appear before the court on the strangulation charge and fled the state while on bond. The original investigation was handled by the Ponca City police department.
She has been in Indiana County Jail since her arrest.
