On Monday night, the Center Township Supervisors heard a request from the Aultman Fire Department to have an area park go back under the auspices of Homer-Center Parks and Recreation.
The request came from Safety and Training officer Tim Stewart, who said that the reason why they want to have their park go back to the parks and rec commission is because they want to get some grants for upgrades.
The supervisors said they would take it up with the township solicitor to see if this can be done.
In other business, the supervisors announced that paving operations continue, and the tar and chipping of King Hill, John George and Anthony Roads is finished.
