Another two-day negotiation session between the State System of Higher Education and the union representing its teachers wrapped up yesterday.
The two day session between APSCUF and PASSHE started on Wednesday, and while a new collective bargaining agreement was not reached, both sides discussed retrenchment, grievances and service. Talks were also planned for today, but those were called off due to a scheduling conflict. The teams are scheduled to resume negotiations on August 7th for another two-day session.
The current four-year contract expired on June 30th. That contract will remain in effect while the negotiations session continues.
Meanwhile the next negotiation session for the coaches’ contract is scheduled for August 28th.
