PENELEC WORK SCHEDULED FOR TODAY, TOMORROW IN INDIANA

Penelec has announced some work will be done at one of Indiana Borough’s busiest intersections today.

According to a post on Indiana Borough’s Facebook Page, the power company will be at the intersection of 9th and Philadelphia Streets today and tomorrow.  Drivers can expect traffic adjustments on these days as crews will direct traffic.

The long-awaited bike-pedestrian bridge across Route 22 is now open! What do you think?

I love it! It will help bring more economic activity to Indiana County!
I love it! It's much needed for the safety of folks to link the trails and access both sides of that busy highway.
I love it for both of the reasons listed above (as long as they maintain it.)
It's not going to be the economic boon they're saying it will be.
Not enough people will use it to have an effect on safety.
It will not be maintained and will fall into disuse rather quickly.
