TWO SENT TO HOSPITAL AFTER CAR CRASHES INTO TICKET BOOTH AT IDLEWILD

Two people were sent to the hospital after a car crashed into a ticket booth at Idlewild and Soak Zone in Ligonier on Sunday.

The crash happened around 2:00 PM at the park off Route 30 as Ligonier Valley Police say a driver suffered a medical emergency and collided with the structure. First responders had to free one person from the ticket booth. Two Idlewild employees were taken to the hospital as a precaution, while those in the vehicle were checked out on-scene and did not go to the hospital.

Idlewild is scheduled to be open for business as usual from 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM today.

I love it! It will help bring more economic activity to Indiana County!
I love it! It's much needed for the safety of folks to link the trails and access both sides of that busy highway.
I love it for both of the reasons listed above (as long as they maintain it.)
It's not going to be the economic boon they're saying it will be.
Not enough people will use it to have an effect on safety.
It will not be maintained and will fall into disuse rather quickly.
