The eastbound lanes of Route 22 in East Wheatfield Township will have nighttime closures this week around the Route 403 Cramer Pike bridge as repair work continues on that bridge, which was damaged when it was struck by an oversized truck five years ago.
Traffic will be detoured using the on and off ramps in the bridge area, unlike the last couple of weeks when the closure of the westbound lanes caused a detour using Route 422 from Ebensburg to Indiana.
PennDOT does not say how long the eastbound closure will be necessary.
