State police say a person from Indiana County was one of two people who died in a motorcycle crash last night in Westmoreland County.
The crash was reported in the 7600 block of Route 819 in the Hunker area of Mt. Pleasant Township. State police arrived on the scene around 8:00 PM to find that the motorcycle had gone off the road and crashed into a home. There were no eyewitnesses to the crash, but the occupants ran outside after hearing a commotion. Damage to the property was minimal and no one inside the house was injured.
The identities of the two people who were killed have not been released by Westmoreland County Coroner Timothy Carson. State police are still investigating.
