The 2023 edition of Taste and Tour was a rousing success in Downtown Indiana Thursday night.
Sam Kenly with Downtown Indiana, Inc. said that this year’s participation was better than last year.
Kenly also wanted to thank First Commonwealth Bank, the title sponsor for the event, for their help and hosting the event’s after-party at their courtyard at the old courthouse offices.
Along with getting the chance to sample foods from the different places, participants got the chance to vote on their favorites. The winners from this year’s taste and tour are as follows:
- Best Drink: Wolfendale’s (offering a watermelon spritzer and a lemon crush)
- Most creative: Woody Lodge Winery and Hello Personal Assistant and Concierge Services (for their wine tasting and charcuterie board)
- Best overall experience: Benjamin’s (serving sangrias, spicy shrimp and tomato confit bruschetta)
