A review hearing is scheduled today for a man charged in connection with a robbery in Indiana borough back in 2022.
Indiana borough police charged 20-year-old Jamie White, Jr. of Indiana with Robbery, Theft, Simple Assault and other crimes for an armed robbery that happened on the morning of September 6th near South 7th and Gompers Avenue. Officers were called out around 1 AM after White allegedly approached a woman and demanded cash from her, making off with an undisclosed amount of money. The victim was not hurt. White was arrested three days later.
Court documents show that on February 16th of this year, at a motions hearing, White was declared incompetent to stand trial, and in the intervening months, motions have been granted for reevaluation, which will be discussed today at the hearing in front of President Judge Thomas Bianco.
Another review hearing in this case is scheduled for August.
