More details were released regarding a head-on crash that happened Tuesday morning in Blairsville Borough.
Police say 20-year-old Sebastian Blauser of Blairsville was driving west along East Market Street around 7:30 a.m. when he crossed the median and collided with a car, driven by 30-year-old Raul Orozco of Laurel, Md., who was driving east. Orozco and an unnamed passenger suffered minor injuries, and both were taken to the Indiana Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Blauser later told police that he was looking at his phone at the time of the crash. No word on if any charges were filed.
Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene. Blairsville Borough Police were assisted by members from the Blairsville and Black Lick fire departments and Citizens’ Ambulance.
