CLYMER BOROUGH COUNCIL APPROVES HIRING ASSISTANT BOROUGH MANAGER

At their meeting Wednesday night, Clymer Borough Council ratified a decision to hire an assistant to borough manager Sonya Schrenkel.

The board unanimously approved hiring David Kirk as Assistant Borough Manager with his hire date retroactive to July 10. Schrenkel talked about Kirk’s duties.

Council also voted to appoint Aaron Packer to the board to replace Jeff Gromley, who resigned from his position last month after work forced him to move out of the borough. Schrenkel said Gromley will be missed but she knows Packer will be a good fit on borough council.
