Traffic on one of Blairsville’s major roads was tied up for about 45 minutes this morning as crews worked to investigate and then clean up a head-on collision.
Indiana County 911 reported the crash at 7:30 this morning on East Market Street and sent Blairsville and Black Lick Fire Departments along with Blairsville borough police to the scene. Blairsville fire officials say that the head-on collision between a car and a pickup truck was near the intersection of Market Street and Grandview Avenue.
The driver of the car suffered minor injuries in the crash. No word if that person was taken to the hospital. No other injuries were reported.
