State police have released details on a hit-and-run accident on the Fourth of July on Wayne Avenue in White Township. It happened at about 10:22 PM and involved a 16-year-old Glen Campbell boy driving with a 17-year-old Indiana girl in his vehicle. As they drove in the right lane just south of Hospital Road, a vehicle in the left lane suddenly switched lanes and pulled into the boy’s path, causing the collision. The other vehicle then fled southward.
Both the boy and girl suffered suspected minor injuries but refused treatment.
