THREE HERITAGE CONFERENCE SOFTBALL PLAYERS MAKE ALL-STATE TEAM

The Pennsylvania High School Softball Coaches Association All-State Teams were announced yesterday, and there are three Heritage Conference standouts on the Double-A team.

West Shamokin catcher Lily Jordan, and Cambria Heights first baseman Lexi Griak and outfielder Martina White all made second team All-State.

The long-awaited bike-pedestrian bridge across Route 22 is now open! What do you think?

I love it! It will help bring more economic activity to Indiana County!
I love it! It's much needed for the safety of folks to link the trails and access both sides of that busy highway.
I love it for both of the reasons listed above (as long as they maintain it.)
It's not going to be the economic boon they're saying it will be.
Not enough people will use it to have an effect on safety.
It will not be maintained and will fall into disuse rather quickly.
