A Cherry Tree man was charged following a two-month investigation in Indiana County.
Indiana County District Attorney Bob Manzi announced in a Facebook post that 57-year-old Greg Gordish was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver along with other related charges following two incidents. The first happened in May when members of the county Drug Task Force conducted a controlled purchase of methamphetamine from Gordish. Then, in June, another controlled purchase was conducted, and it was discovered Gordish allegedly sold a mixture of heroin and fentanyl to a confidential informant.
Two separate criminal complaints were filed before Magisterial Judge Guy Haberl, and on June 26, Gordish was arrested and placed in Indiana County Jail. He was arraigned before Judge Susanne Steffee and cash bail was set at $150,000 for each case.
A preliminary hearing before Judge Haberl is set for tomorrow at 9:45 a.m.
