At a meeting Wednesday night, the Center Township Supervisors approved a resolution concerning the Community Development Block Grant Entitlement Program.
The resolution authorizes the signing of a cooperation agreement between the township and Indiana County to submit an application and administer the program. Supervisors Chairman Matt Housholder talked about what the money from the 2023 CDBG program will be used for.
The township has been saving $300,000 over the last three years for the project. They expect to put the project out for bid in the fall.
