For many, the Indpeendence Day weekend is continuing until the end of festivities on Tuesday, but that also means that the work will continue for state police.
State police previously announced that they were anticipating increased vehicle traffic between the first and 4th of July, so troopers would be out in full force along Pennsylvania Highways. Members of State Police Troop A say they will be specifically looking for distracted, aggressive and intoxicated drivers. They also remind everyone that when they are in the car, a seatbelt needs to be worn at all times.
