LIGHT SCHEDULE FOR INDIANA COUNTY COURTS TODAY

One day before the county courthouse will close for the 4^th of July holiday, there is a light schedule for county judges.

Only three hearings are on the schedule for today.  One of the hearings is a sentencing hearing for 49-year-old Brian Richard Stile of Blairsville.  He entered a guilty plea to theft of lost property while charges of theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property were not prosecuted.  The charge dates back to an incident on February 7^th of this year.

The other two hearings will be plea court hearings.  One is for 27-year-old Michael Davis Jr. of Houtzdale, who is currently in the state prison system.  He is accused of assault by a prisoner, simple assault and harassment.  At the preliminary hearing on May 22^nd, a charge of inmate procuring a weapon was dismissed.  This was for an incident on may 18^th of 2022.

The other plea court hearing is for another prisoner in the state system.  21-year-old Adrian Wise of Indiana is charged with possession of a controlled substance-contraband, simple possession and possession of drug paraphernalia for an incident on August 20^th of 2021.
