Along with the fire reported at Debnar’s Pools and Spas, Sunday was a busy day for Indiana County’s first responders.
Crews responded to three vehicle accidents over the course of the day. The first was at 2:20 AM on Tanoma Road in Rayne Township. State Police, Citizens’ Ambulance and Indiana Firefighters were dispatched at the time. The next accident was at 1:25 PM along Clarksburg Road in Conemaugh Township. Tunnelton and Saltsburg firefighters were dispatched at the time. The third accident was late at night at 11:20 PM on Route 403 South in Buffington Township. Vintondale firefighters were on the scene at the time.
There were also two automatic fire alarm activations reported in Burrell Township. Black Lick fire crews were called out at 12:09 PM for a fire alarm activation at River Valley High School. Crews found the alarm going off but nothing else was found. Another Automatic Fire Alarm was reported at 3:40 PM on West Market Street in Blairsville Borough.
