At a meeting this morning, the Indiana County Commissioners approved an updated active transportation plan.
This marks the first time that the plan has been updated in ten years. Josh Krug with the office of planning and development talked about what changes were made.
In other business, the commissioners approved memorandums of understanding with the Indiana Theater and the Indiana Arts Council for the Creative Communities Initiative, which allows payments made by both entities to be used as match and reimbursable items towards the PCA Create Communities Initiative Grant Reimbursement Request.
The Commissioners also approved the purchase of a new set of tasers for the Sheriffs Department from Axon Enterprise, replacing one that have expired. The total cost of $95,222 will be split up evenly over the next five years.
