At their meeting Tuesday night, Blairsville Borough Council voted to advertise an ordinance concerning a veterinary clinic.
Council approved advertising Ordinance 710, which establishes guidelines for a veterinary clinic to go into the Mainline building along East Market Street, but board president John Bertolino said some language needed to be added in order for it to be advertised.
The ordinance will be voted on at the next borough council meeting.
In other business, Police Chief Lou Sacco said the investigation into the fatal collapse of the roof at the former Third Ward building is still in progress, and a debriefing session for first responders will be held Wednesday night. Public Works Manager Dave Fairman also commended first responders for their quick work during the incident.
